White­man Park and Tril­lion Trees is cel­e­brat­ing the fi­nal stage of plant­ing the Chil­dren’s For­est. Af­ter 18 years, the for­est will be com­ing of age and there will be loads of free chil­dren’s ac­tiv­i­ties to com­mem­o­rate the mile­stone mo­ment. Kids and their fam­i­lies can get dirty with mud and na­ture play ac­tiv­i­ties and meet some na­tive an­i­mals, in­clud­ing snakes, birds of prey and maybe even an echidna. There will be bush fairies, face paint­ing of your favourite na­tive an­i­mal and sto­ry­telling. Park in carparks 12, 20 or 21 for best ac­cess and fol­low the ‘plant­ing’ ar­row signs to Stage 18.
