The blue-ribbon event, the under-18 junior boys, was hotly contested and taken out by Gracetown’s Ben Gradisen over Danny Benedetti and Seth Van Damon Hayes with surf academy students. Haeften, of Margaret River.
Charlie Castleden, of Cottesloe, took fourth position.
April McPherson of Mandurah took out the girls under-18 division over Emma Cattlin, of Yallingup, and Arabelle Gibson and Maddie Cawood, of Margaret River.
