Stirling Times - - What’s On -

Eleven years after their breakthrough box office hit in Kenny, Clayton and Shane Jacobson have gone to a very dark place in their new film Brothers’ Nest. On a cold morning in country Victoria, brothers Terry (Shane Jacobson) and Jeff (Clayton Jacobson) arrive at the family home intent on murdering their stepfather Roger (Kim Gyngell). The staged suicide would render their dying mother’s plan to change her will in his favour redundant. But motives may not be what they seem. This tense, claustrophobic, single-setting film sprinkles humour throughout the script, which gets darker as it goes along. The Clayton brothers are a terrific acting duo, with Clayton demonstrating versatility.
