North Beach Jetty Restoration

Stirling Times - - News -

The North Beach Jetty is back to looking its best after the City recently carried out a complete refurbishment of the local landmark. The restoration works were prompted by an inspection of the 22 metre jetty after this year’s winter storms caused extensive damage to the decking.

The $120,000 project included replacement of the entire wooden structure with seasoned jarrah and new stainless steel fixtures. These restoration works have retained the original look and feel of the jetty and ensure that the popular lookout remains available to the community into the future.

The jetty is now open to the public for recreational fishing and can be booked for wedding photos by emailing beaches@stirling.wa.gov.au or phoning the City’s Beach Services Booking Office on (08) 9205 7472.
