Drop off your un­wanted clothes

Time to round up all those un­wanted clothes you just don’t use any­more and do­nate them to the City’s Char­ity Cloth­ing Drop Off Day. Aid­ing sev­eral char­i­ties, the event will be held on Satur­day 1 De­cem­ber from 9.00am to 3.00pm in the City’s Ad­min­is­tra­tion Cen­tre car park at 25 Cedric Street, Stir­ling.

This next event will be big­ger and bet­ter as we can now ac­cept a wider va­ri­ety of items in­clud­ing home­wares, books, toys, kitchen­ware, games, DVDs, CDs and small elec­tri­cal goods. Your do­na­tions will be sup­port­ing Vin­cent de Paul (Vin­nies), Good Sa­mar­i­tan In­dus­tries, Spine and Limb Foun­da­tion, Sal­va­tion Army and Angli­care.

The City has hosted five Char­ity Cloth­ing Drop Off Day events since late 2016. In to­tal, th­ese events have di­verted more than 45 tonnes of cloth­ing and tex­tiles from land­fill. Visit www.stir­ling.wa.gov.au for more de­tails.
