Drop off your unwanted clothes
Time to round up all those unwanted clothes you just don’t use anymore and donate them to the City’s Charity Clothing Drop Off Day. Aiding several charities, the event will be held on Saturday 1 December from 9.00am to 3.00pm in the City’s Administration Centre car park at 25 Cedric Street, Stirling.
This next event will be bigger and better as we can now accept a wider variety of items including homewares, books, toys, kitchenware, games, DVDs, CDs and small electrical goods. Your donations will be supporting Vincent de Paul (Vinnies), Good Samaritan Industries, Spine and Limb Foundation, Salvation Army and Anglicare.
The City has hosted five Charity Clothing Drop Off Day events since late 2016. In total, these events have diverted more than 45 tonnes of clothing and textiles from landfill. Visit www.stirling.wa.gov.au for more details.
