Blade robbery


A MAN allegedly armed with a blade has been charged over the robbery of a Tuart Hill pharmacy.

Police allege he was wearing a face covering and was armed with a bladed object when he entered the premises at 3.45pm on March 27.

He allegedly stole a quantity of cash and prescripti­on medication.

It is further claimed he stole a moped from a Joondanna home before the robbery, which he allegedly drove to and from the pharmacy.

A 35-year-old man from Balcatta has been charged with armed robbery and stealing a motor vehicle.
