Street Machine

CLASS IN SESSION

-

BRINGING back Expression Session was pure genius. What we can do these days with CAD design is truly next-level. I mean, that EH ute (SM, Sep ’21) is going to look absolutely perfect when it’s finished. But oh my god, the Super Bird rendering of the XA-XC coupe (pictured right, SM, Oct ’21) – pure porn!

I also enjoyed your article about all the Street Machine of the Year winners (SM, Sep ’21). It is amazing how we can go from the subtle builds that appear almost stock (where it’s not until you dive into each one that you notice the amount of work done) to the extravagant builds that have had every piece fettled to within an inch of its life, massive wheelarches to fit ginormous tyres, and blowers towering skyward that not only feed on methanol but also the odd small flying creature. This shows that there is no formula to winning SMOTY, which makes it one of the most coveted trophies to win.

During these harsh times, re-reading the latest edition of SM or digging through my mag collection is an escape from this madness we’re now all living in. Keep doing what you guys are doing; your dedication to always giving us the best of the best, every month, is just phenomenal. For as long as you keep printing, I’ll ensure my subscription never runs out.
