2023 SM CALENDAR IS GO!

YOU may have noticed that our 2023 calendar wasn’t attached to the 2022 Yearbook issue like it normally would be. Unfortunately, the costs associated with printing the calendar have skyrocketed, so we couldn’t include it with the magazine this time around. But don’t worry, it still exists! We’ve printed off a small batch of calendars that can now be ordered through our merch store for $9.95, which is the cost price for us to produce and mail them. Like all our other calendars, it’s a 13-month deal with a hot feature car front and centre each month. You can order one now at shop.streetmachine.com.au, and we’re hoping we’ll be able to once again offer the calendar with the Yearbook mag as usual in 2023.

NO PREP KINGS IN OZ!

DISCOVERY Channel’s hugely popular Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings series is set to hit Aussie shores next month. From February, the tour will stop at Perth Motorplex, Willowbank Raceway, Sydney Dragway and Calder Park, with almost a dozen big US names set to appear, including the return of fan favourites Farmtruck & AZN. Aussie challengers are just starting to be firmed up as we go to print, and it’s safe to say some of our top cars will come out to play. Search ‘No Prep Kings’ at streetmachine.com.au for more info on how it’ll all go down, and how you can get a piece of the action.

NEXT!

NOW the Summernats rush is behind us, it’s time to crack on with the February issue, and it’s shaping up to be quite a thing! Carrying the Summernats theme forward, we’ll have a cracking yarn on all the kooky ’Nats cruisers that have been built over the years. From opposing ends of the automotive event spectrum, we will bring you coverage from both the Optima Challenge and Chopped. There’s also a meaty tech yarn on engine building, and a bumper line-up of feature cars, including the extremely supercharged Mustang pictured below. The February issue of Street Machine goes on sale 23 February. Don’t miss it!
