Adopting preventati­ve health behaviours are important, however with such a busy lifestyle there are many barriers, so let’s overcome them!

SLEEP

Ensure you sleep eight hours every night.

The best sleep are the hours before midnight, so sleeping from 9pm can get you off to a good start.

REDUCING YOUR SCREEN TIME

Turn off your laptop and television at night and place your phone in flight mode.

This provides rest and recovery for a productive day.

EAT GOOD FOOD

Consume various vegetables, low GI fruits such as berries, grass-fed meats, fats such as olive oil, avocado, ghee, macadamia oil, coconut oil and resistant starches such as sweet potato, plantains, green banana flour, and resistant rice.

FIND AN EXERCISE THAT YOU ENJOY

Yoga, walking, Pilates, football to name a few.

Surround yourself with positive business owners, meet with them regularly and create a supportive environmen­t for optimal peer mentorship and collaborat­ion.

Look after your mental health and reduce stress levels by implementi­ng activities or down time, enjoy activities that rejuvenate you.

Get outside and read a good book, go fishing, bushwalkin­g, or go on a picnic with the family.

Ensure you have that downtime regularly to recharge.
