FOUNDER LEANNE SHARES HOW CREATE WAS BORN

-

When Leanne Mcdonald founded Create Financial Solutions in 2009, she was already ahead of the pack when it came to managing money and investments.

She had been involved in the Financial Services Industry since 1989, and as a financial planner since 1996.

She had held several National Awards at Suncorp and CBA Bank.

She bought her first shares at the age of 20 and her first house at 22.

Even as a young high school kid, she manned and helped out with the family farm business in country Queensland.

The local grown practice that started out with one staff member in 2009 has grown from strength to strength, to 16 staff employed across the business consisting of four experienced financial advisers, two mortgage brokers and 10 administration customer service staff.

Create offers many different options and services for busy people to make the financial process simple.

Leanne’s success, enthusiasm and drive has attracted people to Create via both referrals from delighted clients and also via their community involvement in various charities and functions around Toowoomba.

Being driven and positive about what you can achieve and share with others is central to Leanne’s working practice.

Leanne gets great motivation from motivating others, and coming up with strategies for them to achieve success.

“I am a passionate person and I enjoy discussing my successes, and how to manage and integrate a work/ life balance, it’s important to keep energy levels up to continue to motivate and inspire others,” she said.

She has various professional designations in her field: Certified Financial Planner (CFP), ASX Listed Securities Certificate, Self-managed Super Fund Specialist Adviser certification, and Queensland Collaborative Law.

In 2012, Leanne was named the number one Female Adviser of the Year by Morningstar Magazine, and number 12 overall in Australia.

Her proudest achievement is being a mother of three children.
