FIRST of all — happy new year.

We had so many wonderful adventures in 2017, and there’s so much to look forward to in 2018.

This month is exciting for not just our local area, but for the country as a whole — we get to celebrate Australia Day.

January 26 brings together all Australians to enjoy this beautiful, sunburnt land that we love so much.

We hope all of our Stylers are getting their loved ones together and celebrate our wonderful, multicultural nation later this month.

In this edition, we catch up with homegrown Olympic long-distance runner Patrick Tiernan (p8 and 9), who shares his love for his country and sport.

Style is also graced by the artwork of Courtney-beth Knowles (p10 and 11), who shares the touching story behind a particular original piece, Dear Daniel.

We’re excited to introduce a new fashion columnist, Felicity Wright of Wright Style (p21).

This lovely lass is sure to be a fun, classy addition to the Style repertoire.
