Conveniently located at 300 West Street, Westridge Medical’s general practice has long built a reputation for professionalism and quality patient care.

That service is set to expand with an impressive range of cosmetic treatments now available.

Practice manager Georgie Harden said the team was very excited about the new services on offer which included treatments such as PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma), Cool Sculpting and anti-wrinkle injections; as well as dermal and laser treatments.

“Previously, the only option for patients was to go to the eastern side of Toowoomba. Now, through our clinic at the Westridge Shopping Centre, we can provide the same professional services without the long drive and inconvenience,” Georgie explained.

Georgie said another major positive was having Dr Vinu Ramnanan personally offering the procedures for their patients.

“When it comes to our bodies, none of us are perfect – and it can sometimes be embarrassing to address our flaws.

“As a female, Dr Ramnanan can instantly put her patients at ease and make them feel more comfortable as she is the actual doctor delivering the service. It can be far less intimidating.”

With her broad medical experience and extensive training in the new services available, Dr Ramnanan said 2019 was going to be a standout for the clinic.

“We see this year as being a big one for the Medical Centre as we have a number of new doctors coming on board as well as the cosmetic innovations,” she said.

“We know we’re going to improve a lot of lives this year.”

Dr Ramnanan said many of the treatments were simply ‘lunch-time procedures’.

“They’re not intrusive, they don’t cause discomfort or require medication, so you can have your appointment and be back at work without interruption to your day.”
