When she was forced to close her doors at COSTATT Clinic during the COVID-19 lockdown, Esmeralda Bonanonigowing set about to complete goals that her normal busy schedule never permitted.

Number one on the list was to complete a portrait of her daughter.

“I adore sketching and have sketched all my family except my little girl,” Esmeralda says.

“It helps me relax and complements my cosmetic tattooing skills.”

Rather than sit on her hands during the recent ten-week lockdown, she also made the most of the opportunity to do more training and completed an advanced course in eyebrow feathering.

The course brought together cosmetic tattooist from all around the world via video for five days to learn the latest in eyebrow feathering techniques.

“Now I can’t wait to get my hands back on my clients!” Esmerelda says.

Esmeralda has been providing cosmetic tattooing services in Toowoomba for 10 years and she is back open for business, and as always, following government guidelines for health and safety.
