A very special joint wedding and christening day

-

Mummy, will you marry my daddy?”, baby Aria’s jumpsuit reads, exactly two years to the day after Brett and Chantelle started dating.

On September 23, Chantelle Williams and Brett Ernst tied the knot at St Aiden’s Chapel at TACAPS, followed by their reception at the All Seasons Function Centre.

“We met on a blind date organised by mutual friends at the Fiveways Hotel on the May 29, 2015,” Chantelle says.

“From the day we met we just clicked and could not stop talking, we would spend hours talking about anything and everything — it felt like we had known each other for years.

“My wonderful husband is a great provider not only for myself but for our beautiful daughter Aria.”

Brett and Chantelle Ernst had a traditional, simple and elegant wedding that was also the christening day for their six-month-old daughter, Aria Ivy Ernst, which was celebrated straight after the wedding ceremony.

Chantelle wore a stunning lace dress bought locally from Wedding World, and Brett wore a grey suit with a champagne pink tie from Tarocash.

The artifical flowers were from local business Flowers by Florence, hair was done by Jazzylane Hair & Beauty Studio, and makeup by Beauty Bed.

The decorations were a combination of fairylights and mushroom pink, silver, rose gold tones, arranged by Elegant Weddings & Events.

The wedding car was a HQ that was Brett’s brothers’ car.

Chantelle has some advice for people getting married.

“Keep it simple, know what you want and surround yourself with professional people and businesses,” she says.

“We planned our wedding in three months and everything went smoothly and are happy with every company we used, all local.”

The couple would love to have a second addition to their beautiful family in the future as well.

“We have plans to travel and make many family memories,” Chantelle says.
