With creative dishes and old favourites to boot, Qi’lin has a vast array of divine, top-of-the-line meals to try.

DUCK MEAT AND SCALLOP SOUP

How else do I say that all my Christmase­s have come at once? Starting with a wonderful aroma, this beautifull­y presented dish is the epitome of a thick, flavoursom­e soup. The juicy duck meat and tender scallops were soaked in a filling, home-style broth. This dish was unique, tasty and truly memorable.

QI’LIN BARBECUE PORK RIBS

Full of flavour, hearty and sumptuous, who can go past barbecue pork ribs? Sticky and tasty, the salty-yet-sweet meal was a delight to the senses. These tasty bites were complement­ed by crunchy carrots, bringing a unique flavour. A pop of yellow pickled radish adds a welcome refreshing flavour.

CRISPY WALNUT CHICKEN IN A STRAWBERRY LIQUEUR SAUCE

What an unbelievab­le, unique flavour! This creation by Qi’lin co-owner Annette Cheung was aromatic, sweet and, above all, delightful. A shock to the senses, it combined the crunch of the chicken and stickiness of the strawberry liqueur. This was a beautiful, sweet treat.

BAKED CASSAVA AND GRATED COCONUT CAKE WITH ICE CREAM

For those who aren’t familiar with cassava it is a woody shrub and has an edible tuberous root, and Qi’lin have created an absolutely stunning dessert with it. This cake isn’t too sweet and is a beautiful palate cleanser. The coconut adds a little crunch, while keeping a smooth consistenc­y through the cassava cake underneath.
