TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF?

I grew up in Narrabri, NSW.

My Pop and Dad were cattle farmers, so we spent a lot of time on the farm and the stock routes surrounding Narrabri.

Growing up in a rural area gave me a love for the country, which is something I am still very passionate about today.

I love taking my son back to the farm where we can go motor bike riding, horse riding and yabbying.

HOW DID YOU START MODELLING?

I did ballet as a child, so I was always on stage from about five years old, but I was 16 years old when I first walked a catwalk and did my first editorial for a local clothing store in Narrabri.

WHAT IS THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR CAREER (SO FAR)?

I would say it’s a toss–up between signing with my new agency (Chic Management) who put me on a nation–wide contract, and working at Audi race week at Hamilton Island.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE BIGGEST HURDLE (SO FAR)?

The majority of my work load lately has been based in Brisbane or the Coast.

Now that I live in Toowoomba, it means a lot of travel back and forth, which means more time away from home and my son.

ANY ADVICE FOR ASPIRING MODELS?

Working in the industry, you definitely need to have a thick skin — not everyone is going to like your look and it’s normal to get a lot of knock backs.

Aligning yourself with supportive brands and a supportive agency makes the job a lot more rewarding.
