Breathing slowly while munching on your meal makes it taste even better. Researchers from Yale, Pennsylvania and Stanford universities in the US have found that the way a person absorbs smells depends on how quickly they breathe. Taking slow and steady breaths gives the brain more time to process how food smells and better prepare for how good it’s going to taste, the researchers say.
