Sunday Herald Sun - Body and Soul - - HEALTH HQ - GEMMA SUTHERLAND

My favourite quote from our interview with Jamie Oliver is: “Get the politicians to stand up and grow some balls”. He’s talking about the absence of a sugar tax in Australia, and he believes implementing one will help save the lives of the 23 per cent of Aussie kids aged up to four who are overweight or obese. That’s almost a quarter of our children! Sugar tax aside, he has some easy, savvy advice on what we can all do today to make our families healthier.

You can find it on page 4. Also inside is a workout by Michelle Bridges guaranteed to get your heart rate up (page 12), an amusing look at some new feminine hygiene products on the market (page 14 – and yes, crochet tampons are apparently a thing now) and skincare that will save you money by working twice as hard (page 10). Enjoy.
