A new study of 20,000 peo­ple in the jour­nal Nu­tri­tion & Di­a­betes found those who eat pasta as part of a Mediter­ranean diet had a lower BMI, smaller waist and less chance of be­ing over­weight or obese than ab­stain­ers.
