REMEDY IN DISGUISE
If there’s one claim airlines love to make, it’s that they have a secret to beating jet lag. Air New Zealand’s new weapon is the “bird mask”, a New Zealand merino wool and foam creation made in collaboration with Kiwi footwear brand Allbirds. The “beak” covering the nose is designed to block out light, while the moulded eye indentations allow for natural eye movement (and even protect false eye lashes). But to score a mask, you’ll need to be in a business-class seat on a North American route during October.
