RESTAU­RANT A GOOD BET

The ding-ding of pok­ies at By­ron Bay’s fa­mous Beach Ho­tel has been re­placed by the clink of cut­lery and plates. The ho­tel has ditched its gam­ing room for Green Room, a bar and restau­rant named for the ho­tel’s ecofriendly and sus­tain­able philoso­phies. The space fea­tures re­cy­cled tim­ber, ex­posed brick and ren­dered walls to echo the ho­tel’s sur­rounds, and a menu by the ho­tel’s food di­rec­tor, David Moyle. Top tip?
