On a recent roadtrip I took my daughter to the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital to meet some furry creatures who had a rough 2020. The little koalas are sadly in decline because of bushfires, road accidents and disease. The good news is the hospital has partnered with Taronga Conservation Society, The Australian Museum and Sydney University to breed koalas for release in the wild.
