AIR NZ TO TASSIE

Air New Zealand will launch a direct service between Hobart and Auckland once the trans-Tasman travel bubble is under way. The airline will provide flights on Thursdays and Sundays to make the most of domestic connectivity – as well as those much-loved long-weekend options.

Enjoying free nibbles in Virgin Airlines economy is a thing of the past now the airline has replaced its complimentary snack offering with an economy buy menu. Passengers who bought tickets before the March 25, 2021, changes, however, will continue to receive complimentary snacks when they fly.

APT REFUNDS

The APT Travel Group has increased refunds to some of its guests affected by the recent suspension of tours. The fixed marketing and overhead charges are now replaced by a oneoff $400 per passenger administration fee. As an alternative, APT is offering a future holiday credit of 100 per cent of the value paid.
