I managed to squeeze in a rather awesome trip to Africa with my partner just before the world realised how bad Covid-19 was and went into lockdown. I was enjoying a beer at the top of the Sani Mountain Pass – this bar is the highest pub in Africa – and it’s nothing short of an epic experience. It has an elevation of 2874m.

Many years ago my husband and I went on the Sunlander up to Cairns. We stopped at Kuranda for a few days, did the markets and some of the tourist attractions. We went on the steam train and the Skyrail. Had a wonderful time. A beautiful part of the world. The pools and creeks are just so refreshing and cool.
