Tele­vi­sion view­ers tend to have strong opin­ions about the peo­ple they see beamed into their liv­ing room on a reg­u­lar ba­sis. In the case of Sky News host Paul Mur­ray, those opin­ions are some­times so strong they re­sult in death threats di­rected to the feisty yet ami­able talk-show an­chor. No doubt it would come as a sur­prise to those who are prone to get­ting worked up over Mur­ray’s po­lit­i­cal com­men­tary to learn that his wife, Sian, does not share her hus­band’s con­ser­va­tive lean­ings – on the con­trary she votes for the Greens and doesn’t even watch his self-ti­tled nightly show. “She doesn’t like the guy on TV at all,” Mur­ray laugh­ingly tells Stel­lar. This week marks five years since the cou­ple’s son, Leo, died only 33 hours af­ter be­ing born – a tragedy that Mur­ray ad­mits for­ever changed him. Now the proud par­ents to daugh­ter Asher, to­day they share the happy news that their young fam­ily is about to grow even fur­ther. But as to which way their chil­dren will vote when they grow up? We’ll just have to wait and see…
