It might share a name (and ad­dress) with one of Mel­bourne’s most pop­u­lar restau­rants, but make no mis­take, when you climb the stairs to Cu­mu­lus Up, a very dif­fer­ent world awaits at star chef An­drew Mccon­nell’s dark and sexy wine bar.

The food, al­ways good, is now better than ever. Fat lan­gos (Hun­gar­ian fried dough) topped with con­fit trout are hot on the heels of some­thing from the ex­ten­sive, well-priced, worldly cel­lar rec­om­mended by switched-on staff.
