“Just be your­self.” It’s what par­ents tell their kids all the time, and an en­cour­ag­ing sen­ti­ment of­fered to a friend bat­tling nerves ahead of a job in­ter­view. But be­ing your­self isn’t al­ways as easy as it sounds. Amanda Keller, how­ever – who at 56 is busier than she has ever been – is some­one who has built a di­verse and flour­ish­ing ca­reer do­ing just that. Or, as she suc­cinctly puts it, au­then­tic­ity is “the new black”. As her long­time friend An­drew Den­ton tells Stel­lar of Keller: “She’s funny with­out be­ing a smart-arse.
