Tash Oakley reveals her favourite butt workout.
My healthiest habit is… my lifestyle. I insist on eight to nine hours of sleep every night and cannot live without regular workouts, healthy food and lots of water. My physical and mental health is my number-one priority because I am my business at the end of the day and no-one can show up in my place if I am down and out.
I relax by… taking a bubble bath with a glass of red. The best advice I ever got was… to truly appreciate how lucky I am to be healthy and in turn to take care of the precious gift I’ve been given. Health is something a lot of people take for granted, but I think if you put yourself in the shoes of others who aren’t so lucky, you start to be more thankful for what you have and naturally take better care of it. On my workout playlist you’ll find… a pretty random mix from No Doubt to Drake. Music is a really important part of my workout. I always push harder when I’m going with the rhythm. My favourite health app is… Peaches Pilates. I love its posture routine and butt workout!
To me wellness
means… being in tune with your body and giving it what it’s asking for. Pay attention to the signs it gives you; to slow down, to eat healthier or to be more active. A lot of people are running on empty, but that never lasts.
