WHY The shoul­ders get a great stretch and it im­proves pos­ture. HOW Low­er­ing from the Sphinx, bend your right arm to the side at a right an­gle, el­bow in line with that shoul­der. Place your right ear to the floor and your left hand be­low your left shoul­der. Lift your left leg up and back as you roll the left shoul­der to the sky. Let that foot float or touch the toes to the floor be­hind you. If this is too in­tense, do the stretch with your right arm straight­ened over your head. Hold for 10 breaths then re­peat on the other side.
