Mind­ful­ness is the new black of psy­chol­ogy. But for those of us raised on the “let’s change your think­ing, fix you up and make ev­ery­thing pos­i­tive and happy” phi­los­o­phy be­hind Western psy­chol­ogy, it can seem a lit­tle con­fus­ing.
