WHY The flow­ing move­ment im­proves di­ges­tion, elim­i­na­tion, cir­cu­la­tion and en­ergy lev­els. HOW Kneel with your hands in line with your shoul­ders and your feet shoul­der­width apart. Straighten your legs as you push your hips to­wards the ceil­ing into down­ward-fac­ing dog (im­age 1). In­hale. Ex­hale strongly as you swing your up­per body and hips for­wards to up­ward-fac­ing dog (im­age 2). Keep your knees and hips off the ground, and tighten your butt and thighs. In­hale as you swing your hips back to down­ward-fac­ing dog. Re­peat this flow 10-30 times, then rest in child’s pose (see be­low), butt on your heels and arms be­side you, un­til your breath re­turns to nor­mal.
