WHY The flowing movement improves digestion, elimination, circulation and energy levels. HOW Kneel with your hands in line with your shoulders and your feet shoulderwidth apart. Straighten your legs as you push your hips towards the ceiling into downward-facing dog (image 1). Inhale. Exhale strongly as you swing your upper body and hips forwards to upward-facing dog (image 2). Keep your knees and hips off the ground, and tighten your butt and thighs. Inhale as you swing your hips back to downward-facing dog. Repeat this flow 10-30 times, then rest in child’s pose (see below), butt on your heels and arms beside you, until your breath returns to normal.
