Hot, clear flu­ids help to thin and elim­i­nate the mu­cous, so try hav­ing three or four cups daily of this “su­per si­nus” brew: Into a cup of hot wa­ter, juice and chop the rind of one lemon, add 2 tsp each of fresh thyme and sage leaves, 2cm of grated gin­ger root and a dol­lop of Manuka honey. Set aside to brew and cool, then strain and drink.
