One of the great plea­sures of a visit to Scot­land is the op­por­tu­nity to in­dulge in the rich har­vest of the sea. The cold, clear wa­ters around the Scot­tish coast pro­vide some of the most sought-af­ter seafood in Europe, with much of it be­ing whisked straight from the quay­side to wait­ing restau­rant ta­bles from Lon­don to Lis­bon. For­tu­nately, there are plenty of places to sam­ple this bounty right here, with Oban top­ping the list of towns with more than their fair share of seafood restau­rants.
