Man dead in SE crash
A MAN, 76, has died after crashing in the South-East.
His ute is thought to have veered off Senior Rd, at Senior, about 20km north of Bordertown, and was found about 11.20am yesterday by another motorist.
The victim, from Bordertown, died at the scene.
Major Crash investigators yesterday made their way to the incident and were examining the scene.
They were investigating whether a medical incident may have caused the crash.
The state’s road toll now stands at 66 compared to 82 at the same time last year.
Yesterday, The Advertiser revealed that, despite the road toll going down, the number of deaths on regional roads so far this year was four more than for the whole of 2017 but still two below the annual 10year average.
