GULLY TO HEIGHTS
WHILE Travis Head’s Test debut last month was a triumph for SA cricket, Tea Tree Gully Cricket Club and Head himself, it wasn’t the state’s or club’s sole contribution to the pinnacle of the sport.
On Tuesday afternoon Rory Burns made his debut for England in the First Test against Sri Lanka In Galle.
Burns played for Tea Tree Gully in 2012-13 as part of the Darren Lehmann Cricket Academy program.
