George discovers recipe for a better life

Sunday Mail - - CONFIDENTIAL -

MASTERCHEF star George Calombaris has paid tribute to the wisdom-teaching guru who changed his life.

George turned to internationally renowned meditation teacher Jonni Pollard, both pictured, for a mind and disposition reset after the super chef experienced a horror 2017.

He initially flew Jonni from Los Angeles to Melbourne in the middle of last year for a week of intensive mind and meditation training.

“The last couple of years consumed me with a darkness which took me to corners I didn’t know how to return from, and I’d lost my mental and physical strength to find clarity on my own,” George says.

“Meditation mapped me right back to the place I needed to be. I needed to be there for my team and I wanted to be the best version of myself.

“The positive impact on my life is almost indescribable with a clarity and strength to not just face another day but also plan for the future.”

George is hosting the launch of Jonni’s new book, The Golden Sequence, in Melbourne tomorrow and has introduced his MAdE Establishment team to the benefits of meditation.

“My personal experience of meditation has been lifechanging. I wish I had discovered this earlier in life and, like Jonni, I want the world to know about the benefits of embracing this magic,” he says.
