DEDICATED cricket fans may have noticed a knock from out-of-favour Australian opening batsman Matt Renshaw, with 345 in Brisbane club cricket last weekend.

It snuck him past Shannon Tubb into seventh place on the all-time Australian club cricket highest scores.

Tubb scored 342 in Tasmanian grade cricket 15 years ago.

And why, you ask, is Tubb getting such a run in a South Australian sports column? Well, Tubb has just joined the S.A. Cricket Association in game development as a talent co-ordinator. When not working, he’s playing for Adelaide Turf Cricket for Grange. $30 on Australia to win the first Test $10 NBL multi: Adelaide into Perth into Melbourne United $10 on Newcastle to beat Brisbane in the A-League
