Dos and Don’ts

Sunday Tasmanian - Tassie Living - - HOME -

DON’T leave all the cords from your TV, game consoles, laptop and chargers in a jumbled mess. Samsung’s One Clear Connection cable can keep the clutter in check.

DO stick to a simple palette — charcoals and steel blues with a bit of raw timber thrown in is a safe bet. If you’re setting up a kitchen, buy an inexpensive white dinner set rather than relying on your mum’s cast-offs. A couple of large salad bowls are great for holding chips and popcorn when you’re watching television.

DON’T put sports memorabilia on your living room wall. No one wants to see that.

DO Invite your friends and family over when you’ve set yourself up. Just make sure the place is clean and tidy first.
