Video sends a loud message

TRADITIONAL owners from Gunbalanya have made a YouTube video to express opposition to the NT Government’s teacher cuts.

Hagar Bulliwana, from Gunbalanya, took an open letter about the cuts from house to house. She gained 320 signatures — about 70 per cent of the adults.

‘‘We are sad to lose many of the teachers that we have this year, and we are concerned about ongoing cuts to assistant teacher positions in the school,’’ the letter said.
