ADELINE and Ounkham Phoneyiem were delighted to welcome a second daughter, Zahra Ashley, into the world. Adeline said Zahra’s older sister Tiffany, 6, was really excited to have a baby sister. ‘‘All our family is in Darwin and they’ve all been so eager to meet her,’’ Adeline said. Tiffany said her little sister was heavy but cute. Zahra was born on November 21 at 8.24am, weighing 3.84kg and measuring 48.5cm. She will receive an official Buddhist welcome into the world in a month’s time. Ounkham said the Laos welcome involved a monk blessing the baby and a lot of food, drink and gifts.
