TRAFFICWERX boss Chris Boyer tried to donate a large sum to the Emerald Springs Roadhouse Leukemia fundraiser last month, but his accountant advised against it. But he promised the pub, then short- staffed, he would give them five days of his time, for free, for the cause, and pass it off to the accountant as a just another job down the Stuart Highway. But his accountant discovered the fib the day he left and gave him a stern telling-off. The accountant was his partner.
