Guards injured in pub brawl

TWO security guards were injured in a fight at a Darwin Waterfront venue last night.

Police said about a dozen people were involved in the altercation at The Precinct Tavern on Kitchener Drive.

The two security guards who were attacked received minor injuries.

It is believed the suspects had left the scene but one person was last night in custody.

The incident occurred just before 8.30pm.

NT Police were at the venue, located on the ground floor of the Medina Vibe building, to investigate the incident.
