THEATRE ‘UNSAFE’

PREVIOUS owner Andrew Lloyd Webber warned 10 years ago that London’s Apollo Theatre was in a ‘‘shocking’’ state and recommended it be demolished, reports said. Investigations are continuing into why about 10sq m of plaster from the West End theatre plummeted on to the stalls below, leaving 80 people injured.
