Lenny Keith Gillie

LITTLE Lenny Keith Gillie is an 11-12-13 baby — but he was just 16 minutes from being a 9.10-11-12-13 baby. He was born at 9.26am. Mum Brigid Ryan said Lenny got stuck briefly during the delivery, and that’s possibly where he lost time. ‘‘I was pushing!’’ she said. Lenny was just a six-hour labour, so it looked as if he wanted to be a part of history too. Alas, it wasn’t to be. Dad Scott Gillie said being a parent didn’t feel real yet. Lenny will grow up a fisherkid, and also — much to Brigid’s dismay — a Collingwood fan. ‘‘(His birthday) was definitely the happiest day of our lives,’’ she said. Lenny weighed 3.16kg and measured 48cm.
