REDTAILS SIDE FOR ROUND 1 2014-15

-

number of games dwindling in the Central Australian Football League, the Redtails are ready to have a sensational side.

In their four-game trial in season 2012-13, the Redtails showed they can mix it with the best the NTFL has to offer.

They are the only side to defeat defending premiers St Marys in the past 30 matches, a stirring come-from-behind victory at Traeger Park in the club’s first match.

Although the side struggled to get the victories during their eight- game trial this season, the signs are there that the Redtails are here to belong.

The side was a lot weaker than the 2012-13 version, with the future of the club at the crossroads. Caleb HART Jayden PRIOR Shane DIXON

A majority of the players thought the Redtails were going to be a flash in the pan. This is now hardly the case.

Expect to see a full-strength Redtails side to run out come Round 1 next season.

The club has a plethora of players to choose from, who showed during the four-game trial that club boundaries were no longer.

Don’t get me wrong — the Central Australian Football League has some of the biggest rivalries I have seen in my time in sport, but to see the best players come together and form a cohesive unit is great to see.

The next three months are crucial for the Redtails. They have to get the off-field selections right.
