It’s crazy but Territorians get film out

-

RUNNING on a budget which can “only be described as paper thin”, it’s a testament to Territorians’ hard work that Crazy Days at the Old Brumby Moon is set to be on the big screen.

The film tells the story of an Outback drifter who is trying to pick up the pieces of his life and give back to the community.

Actor Phil O’Brien said the filming was tough, but all the cast and crew enjoyed putting it together.

“Just like climbing Mt Everest in thongs, or going over Niagara Falls in a 44-gallon drum, it was never meant to be easy,” he said.

“Crazy Days at the Old Brumby Moon is a real celebration of low-budget film making and what can be achieved when a community gets together.”

There will be a free screening on Wednesday at 7pm at the BCC Cinemas Darwin.
