Meet our best nurses

THE outstanding efforts of Territory nurses and midwives were recognised at the 13th annual Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards last night.

Thirteen awards were presented at the Darwin Convention Centre.

Diana Baseley was awarded Nurse/Midwife of the Year for her strong demonstration of leadership in the midwifery field among her peers and within the community.

Sandra McElligott was awarded the Lifetime Achievement in Nursing and Midwifery award for more than two decades service in Central Australia.
