Another highlight was when their two-year-old son Issac joined them in their first dance to ‘Because You Loved Me’ by Celine Dion. “It felt like one of those perfect moments that we will always cherish,” Megan said. She wore a unique dress that came about thanks to the creativity of her dressmaker. She had bought a dress that fit perfectly... but not everywhere, so she was left to hunt for a new one just three weeks out from the big day. “We found another gorgeous gown and, although I loved it, I wasn’t as in love with it as the first,” she said. “While having the new dress fitted my mum made a comment about putting the good bits of each dress together and the seamstress said ‘well actually, it could probably be done’. “So the seamstress ended up doing an amazing job and creating a new dress out of both. It had many layers and was exactly what I wanted.” With three little ones at home, the newlyweds enjoyed a child-free weekend after their nuptials. “We spent the weekend staying in the city, which was every bit awesome,” Megan said. “It was the first time we were able to spend a large amount of time relaxing.
