September: Wettest on record for the NT, with more than five times the average rainfall. Sept 19: Wettest September day ever in Jabiru and Bulman. August: Highest August rainfall total on record since 1974; record highest August daily rainfall set in nine places. August 12: 34.6C in Darwin, the warmest August day since 2012. August 5: Coldest night in Darwin for 2 years, 13.3C recorded at Darwin airport. July 17: Coldest night of the year for most NT locations. June 27: 34.6C in Darwin, the hottest June day on record. June 21: Darwin gets its first night below 20C, the latest this has happened on record. June 8: 37.9°C at Bradshaw set an Australian record for hottest June day. June 6: Rabbit Flat recorded 35.1C, Lajamanu 36.1 C, Delamere 34.4C. All broke their June records, set in 2009. May: Northern Territory had its warmest May since 1958. April 11: Record April max temp at Wadeye at 38C and Tindal recorded its lowest minimum temp with 19.3C. March 4: Wulungurru recorded 23 of 25 days over 40C. March 3: 44.4C at Wulungurru was NT’s hottest ever recorded March temperatur­e. March 2: 42.0C a new record for a hot March day in Tennant Creek. February: Warmest February in the NT since 1989. February 29: Bradshaw reached a top temperatur­e of 41.2C, a new February record. February 21: 35.3C in Darwin was hottest February day for 40 years. Jan 6: Groote Eylandt recorded 38.7C, its hottest ever in January.
