Vehicle blaze suspicious

NORTHERN Territory Police serious crime detectives are calling for information in relation to a vehicle fire at Durack early yesterday morning.

Police were alerted to a burning silver Holden Astra parked in front of a house on Hedley Place just after 5am.

The fire did not spread to the house or a nearby boat.

Detective Senior Constable Maree Scott said the vehicle was engulfed in flames.

“Detectives are treating the matter as suspicious and are calling for anyone who may have information to come forward.” Detective Senior Constable Scott said.
